I know what some of you are thinking: “I didn’t know Jade was an introvert?”. Well, to be honest I don’t think I would define myself as an introvert either. Or an extrovert for that matter. My behaviour totally depends on who I’m with, the situation I’m in, and how comfortable I am. I would imagine that this is how at least 50% of us would define ourselves. I believe the term for someone who falls in the middle of being an introvert and an extrovert is called an ambivert. So if I don’t identify myself as an introvert then why the heck did I pick Quiet Power up off the shelf? Why am I writing a whole blog post about it for that matter? I’m sure you have many questions – all of which I aim to answer… Read more..
Did polaroid photos ever go out of fashion? If they did, I never got the memo. All I know is that ever since I can remember I have wanted to cover my room in little square photos with white edges. OutKast obviously added to this and made me want to shake it like a polaroid pictureeeee without actually providing me with a polaroid picture to shake… Rude huh? I’m so lucky to be able to write this post! On 25 August the amazing Jemma hosted a blogging event at a gorgeous bar called “Dive NQ” in Manchester. The day was so perfect. I would love to spend this whole post raving all about it but unfortunately I have no photos! As some of you might know I’m more than a little shy when I meet new people. I went to The Girl Gang event with every intention of forcing myself to take photos and be bold! I chatted away with so many people but I was just too nervous to ask for selfies or to crack my phone out. Next time!!! Now I’ve met these beautiful people in the flesh once, I’ll definitely be a total camera whore next time. Sorry not sorry. In this post I’ll be talking about the wonderful things which Jemma kindly used to fill my beautiful, pink Girl Gang goody bag.
A few weeks ago I received a wonderful email from a company called Blossoming Gifts who wanted to offer me the chance to experience and write about the wonderful bouquets they have to offer. I am an absolute sucker for some pretty flowers so I jumped at such an opportunity. Flash forward less than 48 hours and they were on my doorstep, and it was love at first sight.
