I’ve never really considered myself one for accessories; probably partly because that would be an extra thing to have to think about in the morning. I have a couple of minimalistic bracelets, a necklace and a pair of earrings which I wear everyday without fail, and I’ve never even thought of adding anything else… That is, up until a few weeks ago when I was first introduced to the Welly Merck brand and the watches they have to offer. Over the past couple of months my mental health hasn’t been up to scratch, and I’ve been dreaming about the ultimate pick-me-up Pamper Party which would make me feel more than okay again. Even just thinking about how I’d spend a whole day in absolute luxury has made me feel a little bit better. With my mental health back on track again, I thought I’d share with you all my ultimate pamper party day. Although some aspects of it are completely unattainable (such as a zero calorie pizza mountain… we all have dreams okay?!) other aspects are just a dream come true in terms of luxury (such as the Addictive Arts Perfume). With some tweaks I fully intend to live out this little dream of mine. Read more..
Oh look, we’re in June already. Yep, my timing is completely off but no matter! It was never my intention to post my My Little Box treasures each month when I signed up to this subscription box. My first box was amazing. My May box blew April straight out of the water, so I would be selfish to not share it with you all. The theme of this box is “Friday Night” which I loooove. Since coming home from University last year, I barely go out drinking now, especially not on a Friday night. I don’t want to put this off any longer, let’s delve straight in with why this months My Little Box had me grinning from ear to ear. Read more..
As I’m sure most of you either know or can imagine, my hair is not in the best shape. Since starting University in 2013, my hair dresser appointments have become more than a little sporadic. The benefit of this is that my hair has grown about a foot, the downside is of course the split ends. Adding to that, over the past year I have gone from natural looking highlights to all over bleach and silver hair dye every 6-8 weeks. Ouch. In other words, it isn’t a surprise when I find my hair snapping and falling off in my lap – the price of beauty is steep! When I was contacted by Brooke at AJC consultants about the JOICO K-Pak hair treatment range, I jumped at the opportunity to try it out.
A few weeks ago I received a wonderful email from a company called Blossoming Gifts who wanted to offer me the chance to experience and write about the wonderful bouquets they have to offer. I am an absolute sucker for some pretty flowers so I jumped at such an opportunity. Flash forward less than 48 hours and they were on my doorstep, and it was love at first sight.
