Particularly during party seasons, it’s so easy to spend an absolute fortune on false lashes, all in the hopes for longer, more voluminous eyelashes. Fibre (how us brits spell it – sorry Younique!) lash mascara appeals to me because it gives the impression of longer lashes, without having to apply false lashes with glue – which would be damaging for your lashes if used regularly. A friend of mine who works for Younique got in touch with me and kindly offered to send me the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ mascara in exchange for a review. I was so excited to try this product out, and now I’m even more excited to share the results with you all.
How to Apply
Unlike my usual mascaras, this one requires three applications:
Step One:
Apply the gel as you would your normal mascara. The gel will act as a glue for your fibre lashes.
Step Two:
Apply the fibre lash mascara. In my experience, don’t start the wand too close to your lash line. The reason for this is a few times I’ve made this mistake and have ended up with fibres in my eyes – not the best experience I must say.
Step Three:
Reapply the gel mascara to set the fibres.
Repeat these three steps until you have achieved desired volume and length.
The Results
I’ve got to say, I’m beyond thrilled with the gorgeous results of the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ Mascara. In the below photos you can see the ridiculous comparison of my lashes with and without the fibre lash mascara. Like WHOA. How much length has that added?! Miles by the looks of it!
Not only do my lashes look amazing, but this mascara is going to save me an absolute fortune on false lashes!
For me, I won’t be reaching for this mascara every single day – purely because I don’t like to have a full voluminous lash on my average day at work / wandering into town. I’m definitely going to save the amazing Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara for special events, nights out – or just whenever I want some beautiful sexy lashes.
