As spring begins to rear it’s wonderful head around this year it’s got me thinking about the choices I make in the kitchen. I’m starting to realise that working full time whilst juggling a social life and my blog / YouTube channel, I’ve become a little lazy when it comes to my food. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still cooking for myself and all that jazz, but I’ve just been thinking – there’s GOT to be an easier way to enjoy the foods I love without all that time and effort. I’ve taken to the internet and have started to lust for some amazingly convenient gadgets which could completely switch up my culinary game with just the click of a button (literally). I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that my skin is always at its absolute worst at this time of year. With the colder temperatures comes scaly and even crusty skin (yum), and my face always bears the brunt of it. At the very same time, over indulging in all the scrummy food and alcohol over the festive period has me breaking out in spots and blackheads left, right and centre. Jo Malone is one of those brands we’ve all heard about, but not necessarily had the opportunity or the funds to try. That is the exact reason I jumped for joy when I received my invitation to the Jo Malone English Oak launch at the Cambridge store. I am so, so lucky to have been asked to attend this event, and I was beyond excited about it! My Little Box – May 2017

Oh look, we’re in June already. Yep, my timing is completely off but no matter! It was never my intention to post my My Little Box treasures each month when I signed up to this subscription box. My first box was amazing. My May box blew April straight out of the water, so I would be selfish to not share it with you all. The theme of this box is “Friday Night” which I loooove. Since coming home from University last year, I barely go out drinking now, especially not on a Friday night. Funnily enough, when I received this box on Thursday 11th May, I was actually going on a proper night out the next day… It’s like someone at My Little Box HQ just KNEW I would be needing it. As I write this, I am sipping my third glass of prosecco, getting into the party mood. Did polaroid photos ever go out of fashion? If they did, I never got the memo. All I know is that ever since I can remember I have wanted to cover my room in little square photos with white edges. OutKast obviously added to this and made me want to shake it like a polaroid pictureeeee without actually providing me with a polaroid picture to shake… Rude huh?
