Christmas Wish List 2018

The Christmas shopping is over for another year (if you haven’t finished… good luck on your last minute dash!). I thought I would share with you all my Christmas wish list so that you can treat yourself in the sales. You deserve it.

This festive season has been pretty crazy for me, and my purse strings have been even tighter than usual as a result. My wish list contains items priced between £6 to £120, so no matter what your budget, there will hopefully be something for you here.

Enough of the chit-chat. Let’s get down to business.

Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ Mascara

Particularly during party seasons, it’s so easy to spend an absolute fortune on false lashes, all in the hopes for longer, more voluminous eyelashes. Fibre (how us brits spell it – sorry Younique!) lash mascara appeals to me because it gives the impression of longer lashes, without having to apply false lashes with glue – which would be damaging for your lashes if used regularly. A friend of mine who works for Younique got in touch with me and kindly offered to send me the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ mascara in exchange for a review. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that my skin is always at its absolute worst at this time of year. With the colder temperatures comes scaly and even crusty skin (yum), and my face always bears the brunt of it. At the very same time, over indulging in all the scrummy food and alcohol over the festive period has me breaking out in spots and blackheads left, right and centre. Jo Malone English Oak Launch Cambridge

Jo Malone is one of those brands we’ve all heard about, but not necessarily had the opportunity or the funds to try. That is the exact reason I jumped for joy when I received my invitation to the Jo Malone English Oak launch at the Cambridge store. I am so, so lucky to have been asked to attend this event, and I was beyond excited about it! Review: Koko Lashes in Dashin’

A little while ago I was contacted to review a pair of Koko lashes. I’d never heard of Koko lashes before, but after doing some research I was excited to try them out. They have so many different kinds of lashes and they are all handmade with high quality synthetic fibres and human hairs. To top it off they’re cruelty free! £50 Drugstore Haul from Chemist.co.uk

Adulting is pretty darn hard sometimes. Especially when you work 9-5 (or in my case 8.30-4.30) and you just have no time to shop anymore. I can still grab all my beauty and clothing items with my online shopping sites – it’s almost like second nature to me now. The things I’m always forgetting to pick up are just the bog standard drug store bits. I usually pick these up “whilst I’m in town” but as that never happens anymore, I’m finding myself getting caught short far too often these days.
